Around the Township
As of late 2013, work began on two new housing developments in South Annville, with another three developments in the planning stages. When completed, these communities will comprise approximately 500 new homes in an open, family-friendly setting.
If you are interested in learning about these new communities, please read the descriptions below. Note that the content below has been provided by the developers themselves, not South Annville Township.
The Meadows at Bachman Run, a new neighborhood of 146 homes located in South Annville Township, opened its first phase of 42 home sites in June 2014. Phase II will open with 60 additional home sites in the spring of 2016, extending South Lancaster Street to connect Reigerts Lane with Louser Road. We expect all 146 homes to be built by 2020.
The Meadows at Bachman Run is a 60 acre community and will have more than 20 acres dedicated to open, green space, including over a mile of paved walking path with solar lighting. The plan was approved using South Annville Township’s Conditional Use Zoning and features best management practices (BMPs) in land use and storm water management. Garman Builders will be planting street trees and open space landscaping, making this neighborhood a perfect place to call home.
