Planning For Our Future

Comprehensive planning is an important process which establishes the goals and aspirations that will drive a community’s development. It presents a vision for the future, with long-range goals and objectives for all activities that affect the local community. The outcome of such planning is a community’s Comprehensive Plan, a document which dictates public policy and the specific implementation of transportation, utilities, land use, recreation, and housing.
