Waste Removal for Our Township
Residents of South Annville Township can choose from among several approved providers for trash & recycling removal.
Note that waste haulers who provide services to South Annville residents are required to take away recycling as well as trash. The recycling categories collected, as well as the schedule for a given hauler’s trash and recycling pickup, can be obtained from the waste haulers themselves.

RECYCLING DROP-OFF CENTER
On March 11, 2024, Annville Township announced the opening of the new Annville Township Drop-Off Center, where residents of Annville Township, South Annville Township, North Annville Township, and Cleona Borough may dispose of Green Waste, Cardboard, Bulk Trash, and Metal.
The new center is located at 675 W. Main St. in Annville, PA and is accessible via a valid access card, seven days per week from 7am-7pm (April - October) and 7am-5pm (November-March), with exceptions for inclement weather and emergency situations.
Access cards for the Drop-Off Center may be purchased by visiting the Annville Town Hall, located or 36 N. Lancaster Street, or by calling the office at 717-867-4476.

GREATER LEBANON REFUSE AUTHORITY
The Greater Lebanon Refuse Authority (GLRA) manages a comprehensive municipal solid waste management system for the County that is in accordance with the 2020-2030 Lebanon County Solid Waste Management Plan.

Seasonal Waste Pickup and Drop-off Programs
South Annville Township Leaf Pickup
Annual leaf pickup is provided every fall season at no charge to South Annville residents living in neighborhoods and developments. There is no pickup program for rural residents. The 2016 leaf pickup schedule will be posted on this page in early September of 2016.
Annville Township Waste Drop-Off Facilities
Some trash haulers do not pick up bulky items or green waste. For a fee, South Annville residents may dispose of such items at the Annville Township Public Works Department, located at 675 W. Main St. in Annville. To use these drop-off facilities, South Annville residents must first purchase a drop-off permit. Permits may be purchased at the Annville Township office, 36 N. Lancaster Street (across from the Annville Post Office). This drop-off program is available from April through November. Those who use the facilities must abide by the guidelines set forth by the Annville Township Public Works Department.
